DAY 1: Arrive to the Sucre airport and departure toward the city of Uyuni.
The journey will take all day, crossing the endless andinian plains (with an altitude that reaches and exceedes 4000 mt), passing through the picturesque city of Potosí (the highest city in the world, 3980 mt), where we'll stop for lunch, and other small andean communities presents in the way; also we'll can admire the endless fields of wild llama and alpaca.
Once arrived in Uyuni, check-in in the reserved hotel, supper and overnight stay.
DAY 2: Departure from the city of Uyuni to reach the Salar de Uyuni (enormous salt desert, situated at 3653 mt of altitude, that, with his around 10.600 km2s of extension and a thickness that it varies from 2 to 10 meters, it's the greatest expanse salted of the world.
It find there important quantities of boron, potassium, magnesium, borax, as well as the most greater litio's reserve of the world), passing for the trains cemetery (an area where picked various ancient vapor trains of the beginning of 900) and Colchani (a neighborhood devoted to the salt's harvest and refinement, in which we can visit a museum completely done of salt and we make purchases of souvenirs and typical products).
Once entered the Salar we'll make various standstills to know and to touch with hand the unique particularities of this place, will discover how they extract the salt, what are the so-called "salt eyes", the reason because the characteristics hexagonal forms are formed... and then we'll make a standstill in the famous salt hotel "Playa Blanca" (where we'll have lunch) and in the Incahuasi island or Pescado island, where we'll meet millenarian cactus and a surrounding amazing view of the Salar. Then we'll arrive to Puerto Chuvica where will dine and overnight stay in a hotel completely made of salt, even the bed!!!
DAY 3: Breakfast and departure early in the morning to reach the neighborhood of San Juan de Rosario, where we'll visit a pre-inca necropolis (Kausay Wasi) and the curious corals fossils.
Then we will pass for the salar de Chiguana, the volcano Ollague (that is part of the famous "fire chain"), to reach the fantastic highlands lagoons (Turquiri, Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota, Honda) in which there is the presence of flamingos of 3 different kinds (Andean flamingo, Chilean and of james) and during the journey we can admire families of wild vicunhas.
We have packed lunch and we'll go toward the Siloli desert where we can appreciate the "Arbol de Piedra" (stone tree), a curious volcanic stone formation modeled by the strong wind and by the salt; then we will enter the national reserve "Eduardo Avaroa" where we'll find the famous Laguna Colorada (red lagoon), a vast pink lagoon that intensifies him color in relationship to the sunlight and due at the presence of microorganisms (they are prawns, of pink color) present in the water; these microorganisms are the preferred food by thousand of flamingos that lives in this marvelous lagoon.
Then we'll arrive to the Huayllajara village to dine and overnight stay.
DAY 4: Departure before the dawn to reach the geysers zone called "Sol de Manana", an area of 1 km2 characterized by an intense volcanic activity, with steam jets that reach 15 mt of height, therefore we'll direct to the thermal waters of Polques, where will be possible to make a bath in a open swimming pool (the water's temperature is 28-30°) and where we will have breakfast.
Subsequently we'll visit the Challviri lagoon, the Salvador Dalí desert (characterized by rocky forms and landscapes that remember its surrealistic pictures), the White lagoon and the spectacular Green lagoon, which it's situated at the feet of the Licancabur Volcano, (that has a height of 5960 mt and has been used as a "training place" for the probe-robots sent on Mars from the Nasa, for his extreme conditions).
Lunch, therefore we will make return to Uyuni, stopping in the neighborhood of Culpina K and St. Cristobal.
Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
DAY 5: Breakfast and departure for the return airport, Sucre or La Paz.
